ABOUT LLKFF
Founded in 1978 in South Carolina by Lillie-Mae Lesesne and the families of the McCrays, Lesanes, and Lesesnes, the Lesane Lesesne Kinfolk Family Foundation was created to preserve family history and carry forward a legacy of strength, resilience, and togetherness.
At its heart, LLKFF is about more than family names — it is about keeping generations connected. The foundation provides resources for families to learn their origins, trace their roots, and carry forward a tradition of financial, spiritual, and physical stability.

Our Mission
To preserve our family legacy and create a place of knowledge, growth, and empowerment. Through education and connection, LLKFF equips families with the tools to become financially secure, spiritually grounded, and physically well — building sustainable legacies for generations to come.
Our Story
The foundation was born during a time of cultural awakening. After the release of the groundbreaking show Roots, families across America were inspired to reconnect. For the Lesesne kinfolk, that inspiration became a mission. Parents and elders began searching for lost and distant relatives, reconnecting branches of the family tree across the nation.
From those efforts grew LLKFF — a foundation rooted in the belief that family is the world. Over time, we’ve built not only bonds of kinship, but also a culture of support in finances, education, and health.
